PARDON OUR DUST
her·it·age - /ˈherədij/:
inheritance; property or traits that are or may be inherited
nat·u·ral/ˈnaCH(ə)rəl/:
Existing in or caused by nature; not made or caused by humankind
My heritage is, or has been, shaped by Africans, West Indians, Europeans (most specifically, German), and Native Americans. The strong family and community, in which I was raised, causes me to culturally relate more to my African/African-American culture, as well as to Native American culture (which is part of oral family history, but hasn’t quite been genetically proven). However, all of these cultures have a distinct impact with regards to the nature of me.
